Switching

How do I move over from Jobber?

In five steps, in the order that keeps your business running: start the trial, export your client list, import it, set up your crews and routes, then cancel Jobber. From Quotera’s Help Center and Jobber’s own FAQ and Terms.

  1. Start the trial.

Your first business runs any paid plan free for 14 days. No credit card, nothing charged when it ends. Texting starts when you subscribe.

  2. Export your client list from Jobber, before you cancel.

Jobber’s Terms say “You are responsible for ensuring that you maintain backups of your data at all times.” Its FAQ points to its Importing and Exporting documentation. Jobber Terms of Service

  3. Import your customers and properties.

In Settings, then Import: upload a CSV file, map your columns to Quotera’s fields; customers you already have, with the same email or phone, are flagged and skipped. Customer import comes with every paid plan; property import with Basic and up.

  4. Set up your crews and routes.

Crews and the route planner come with Basic and up. On Pro, add your recurring jobs and contracts, and each visit gets its own work order.

  5. Cancel Jobber.

On a monthly plan with no commitment, you can cancel at any time and the subscription ends with the billing period. An annual plan must be cancelled at least 30 days before it renews, from the “Cancel your account” section of the Account and Billing page or by phone. Jobber Terms of Service, “Automatic Renewal”

What stays behind: the import brings customers and properties, so past jobs and invoices stay in the records you export from Jobber. If you need them in Quotera, contact support and we will work out the options with you. Free onboarding help if you want it, like a call to walk you through setup. Call (973) 352-0952.
